Key Safety Responsibilities – Customers

  • Provide a safe and pro-active dining and parking lot environment.
  • Educate employees to customer safety issues so accidents can be avoided.
  • Take immediate action if safety problems are brought to management attention.
  • Use proper procedures with all provided tools and chemicals so the customer’s experience is the safest possible.
  • Show care and concern for injured customers.
  • Offer first aid for minor injuries, or offer to call “911” for more seriously injured customers.
  • Keep customer safety awareness a top priority.

(While we should attend to customer injuries, and offer first aid, it is always important to never assume any liability for their injury. Never suggest that the restaurant is at fault, or that anyone will pay for their medical bills. Any customer seeking medical attention does so on their own responsibility. Our insurance company/carrier will work with the customer, obtain the facts of the incident, and then determine if any responsibility exists.)
